In short

FocusClub does not ask you to create an account and does not connect to a server. Your tasks, projects, focus sessions and settings stay on your device. We cannot access any of it.

The only places the app reaches the internet are ads and purchases; both are described separately below.

Data that stays on your device

The following is stored in your device's own storage and is never sent anywhere:

Deleting the app from your device deletes all of it. We hold no copy, so it cannot be recovered.

Ads

The free version shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob itself collects data such as device identifiers and ad interactions. We do not have access to that data; Google processes it.

What AdMob collects: a device identifier (advertising ID), the ads you see and tap, in-app interactions, approximate location (estimated from your IP address, not precise location), and the SDK's crash and performance logs. None of it is tied to an account or identity — the app has no accounts.

How Google uses it: policies.google.com/privacy

In the European Union and the United Kingdom a consent form appears when the app first opens; you can decline personalised ads there. On iOS you are also asked for tracking permission. If you decline, the app works exactly the same — ads simply are not personalised.

If you buy Lifetime Pro, no ads are shown and the ad SDK is never initialised — no request reaches the ad network at all.

Purchases

The Lifetime Pro purchase is processed by the App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your payment details; the app only keeps a local "Pro unlocked" flag on your device.

Because the purchase is tied to your store account, it can be brought back on another device with "Restore purchases".

Notifications

Notifications that tell you a round has finished are scheduled entirely on your device. There are no push notifications from a server, so no device token ever reaches us.

Export

You can export your session history as CSV. The file is created on your device and only goes where you send it, when you choose to share it. It is not sent to us.

Children

FocusClub is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, this page is updated and the date above is refreshed.
